His wife, Naomi Odenkirk, has been with him through thick and thin for most of his career. Naomi has been Bob’s companion for almost twenty-five years and has been more than just his partner.

Naomi has influenced his career, as well as the careers of others. Who is the wife and mother of Bob Odenkirk’s children?

Naomi gave birth to her and Bob’s two children in addition to assisting the careers of some of comedy’s biggest stars of the last two decades. They had a son, Nate, in 1998 and a daughter, Erin, in 2000.

Naomi Odenkirk Is A Producer & Talent Manager

Born Naomi Yomtov, the lady who would marry Bob in 1997, had spent a considerable amount of time working behind the scenes in Hollywood.

According to a 2014 story in Playboy, she worked as an assistant at the William Morris talent agency, where she “scouted new talent at comedy clubs across Los Angeles.”

She was Jenna Fischer, Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader, Casey Wilson, and Derek Waters’ agent at the time (both from Drunk History).

She is credited for discovering Bill Hated while he was working as a production assistant on The Frank International Film Festival, a comedy short for the DVD release of Melvin Goes to Dinner, Bob Odenkirk’s first feature-length directorial effort.

Hader told Playboy, “That was really fantastic.” “Naomi was ecstatic and exclaimed, ‘I think you’re going to win the show!'” This is what I admire most about her. It is no-nonsense.

Also, it is evident that she has a real interest in and admiration for funny actors and quality material.”

Naomi also managed Bob. Bob told the Wall Street Journal that having Naomi as his manager was difficult for a long period.

“In the example of Naomi, a really intelligent, well-informed someone with an opinion, you want your wife or spouse to care about how it makes you feel rather than the thing itself.

If I told Naomi,

“I wrote this pilot,” she would be surprised. The network indicated they didn’t like it, and I don’t want her to respond, ‘Well, they were right.’

“We figured out how to operate together,” Naomi told Playboy about her husband and their collaboration. There were a few years when we weren’t on the same page and feelings were hurt.

Bob told Playboy,

“I can be fairly frank, so I’m sure I’ve wounded her feelings a few times, especially when I don’t like something she likes.” “But, Naomi has improved her comments, and I have improved my ability to receive them. This is true regardless of whether you are married or not.”

Naomi knew instantly that she would marry Bob

In 1994, while employed by William Moris, Naomi visited the UnCabaret in West Hollywood. There, she witnessed Bob speak about his childhood, crafting a humorous tale of growing up in the Midwest with six siblings and an absent, alcoholic father.

Naomi Odenkirk told Playboy that a week later while running errands, she decided, “That’s the man I’m going to marry.” “That occurred to me out of nowhere.

I was initially disturbed. I was not interested in marriage. In reality, I was quite career-driven. I could not, however, disregard this thinking. That night, I went home and told my roommates, ‘I know who I’m going to marry. Yet, I’m embarrassed because I don’t know him yet.

Naomi continued to work and observe Bob’s performances for the next 18 months. Eventually, the opportunity presented itself, and they started up a discussion outside a Santa Monica comedy club.

He asked for her number. She gave it to him. Two months later, they began an exclusive relationship. In 1997, the couple exchanged vows and became husband and wife.

She is the reason we should contact Saul.

Bob told Playboy,

“I can be fairly frank, so I’m sure I’ve wounded her feelings a few times, especially when I don’t like something she likes.” “But, Naomi has improved her comments, and I have improved my ability to receive them. This is true regardless of whether you are married or not.”

Bob has reason to rely on his wife’s discernment. Vince Gilligan phoned Naomi because he wanted Bob to portray attorney Saul Goodman in the second season of Breaking Bad. When Gilligan called Bob, he had never seen an episode, so he was hesitant to accept the part. Naomi urged him to accept.

Naomi stated,

“He had to view himself through different eyes.” On Breaking Bad, he merely appeared as an actor. He did not write or construct the work.

As a former comic director and creator, he had to accept a paradigm shift in his professional life. It was fascinating to witness him take advantage of such an opportunity.

It has become one of the defining events of Bob’s life and career because he accepted the position.
