According to sources, Arthur Schmidt has a total of 27 film credits dating between 1977 and 2005. He also graduated from Santa Clara University with a bachelor’s degree in English and was known to have received an Academy Award for Best Film Editing for Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) and Forrest Gump (1994).
Unfortunately, Schmidt died at his home in Santa Barbara, California, on August 5, 2023, at the age of 86.
