David Beador doesn’t want to pay his estranged wife Shannon Beador more than he has to, and he is doing everything he can to get his child and spousal support payments reduced. This week, David filed documents with the court claiming that the Real Housewives of Orange County star made $1.4 million in 2018 – nearly three times his income – to try to convince the court to cut his $22,500 monthly payment to Shannon.

In court documents obtained by The Blast, David alleged that Shannon earned $801,378 during 2018 and received an additional $238,500 from his company, Beador Construction. He also believes that Shannon made money for promotional appearances on QVC and other sponsorship deals, making her total income for the year close to $1.4 million.

David also claimed that Shannon received a raise of around $75,000 to $100,000 when she signed on for the upcoming season of RHOC.

So, he thinks it is time to recalculate his support payments because they were based on his 2017 monthly income of $108,000 per month and her 2017 income of $423,000. He says his current income is $22,000 per month and has $30,000 in monthly expenses.

Shannon responded by filing documents that detailed her monthly income and expenses. The reality star says she spends $30,235 each month in bills, including $12,000 for rent, $2,300 on groceries, $1,625 for restaurants, $5,000 on kids’ school, and $5,000 for entertainment.

She also claims to have a state and federal tax bill that she needs to pay, owes her lawyers $65,000, and has $24,000 in charges on a credit card.

Shannon went even further an anticipated another tax bill of $275,000 and considerable expenses for her Real for Real Cuisine business.

The $22,500 per month payment is a temporary order, and the court will issue a permanent one when their divorce is finalized.

Shannon and David Beador are due back in court in April, and the judge will hear the issue during trial. Shannon is also seeking primary custody of the former couple’s three daughters.
