After two seasons with the Wellington Phoenix, Davila signed for Macarthur on a three-year deal in 2021, serving as the club’s captain this summer.

Macarthur finished seventh on the 2021/22 A-League ladder after registering nine wins in 26 matches, with Davila finishing as the team’s top goalscorer in a season disrupted by injury and Covid-19.

Earlier this month, he was named Bulls player of the year.

Davila also shared the Johnny Warren Medal, awarded to the A-League’s best player, with Sydney FC’s Milos Ninkovic in 2020/21.
