Do you remember hit, “Everybody’s Changing,” from 2003? Well if so, then you will have heard of a band called Keane who, prior to their hiatus, had four albums and an impressive twenty-two singles under their belt. The thing that made the band stand out so much was the incredible voice of lead singer Tom Chaplin, who has now decided to step out as a solo artist.
Following the announcement of his new album called, “The Wave,” which is due to be released on 14th October, the singer has taken to Twitter to release the dates of his first ever solo tour.
I'm delighted to announce my first solo tour! Tickets on sale this Wed at 9.30am, from https://t.co/ovZXQBS1JM pic.twitter.com/NX3QPyDWYc

The tour will be exclusive to the UK, running through late October and hitting all of the top cities.
Tom will obviously sing songs from his stunning debut album on the tour, but can we pray for a little rendition of, “Somewhere Only We Know,” too?
Fans who attend the shows will be in for an amazing event, as Tom will also be bringing his new band on the road with him. They are an array of multi-instrumentalist musicians which means that they are able to switch the instruments they play on stage quickly and effortlessly. His band features Sebastian Sternberg as an MD, drummer and programmer, Rosie Langley on violin, synths and guitar, Tobie Tripp on piano and violin, and Beau Holland on guitar, synths and piano.
Another highlight of the tour will undoubtedly be the performance of, “Quicksand,” which is the first single from Tom’s new album. Check it out below.
Tickets for Tom Chaplin’s tour go on sale at 9:30am on 7th September on www.gigsandtours.com.
